Advancing the Minimum for a Better Life for All

The Global Strategy 2030 of IPHD – International Promoting Human Development defines the organization’s long-term vision for promoting human development worldwide. Centered on the Minimum for a Better Life Project, this strategy outlines how IPHD will empower individuals, strengthen communities, and contribute to global sustainability by promoting knowledge, responsibility, and innovation. Our strategy aligns with international efforts supporting sustainable development, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Our Core Philosophy

From the Human Being Inside to the World Outside

IPHD believes that sustainable development begins with the individual. Human development progresses through several interconnected levels:

  1. The individual (inner awareness and responsibility)
  2. The family
  3. The community
  4. Civil society
  5. Public institutions and governments
  6. International cooperation

By strengthening individual knowledge and accountability, societies can build stronger, more resilient communities. This approach places the human being at the center of development and promotes change from inside the individual to the broader social environment.

The Minimum for a Better Life Framework

The Minimum for a Better Life Project aims to define the essential knowledge and conditions every human being should understand to live a safe, responsible, and sustainable life. The framework focuses on:

  • Essential knowledge for daily life
  • Responsible use of natural resources
  • Respect for human dignity and life
  • Sustainable interaction with the environment
  • Responsible participation in society

Through education and awareness, the project empowers individuals to contribute positively to their communities.

Strategic Pillars: The Seven Areas of Intervention

The Global Strategy 2030 is implemented through seven interconnected areas of intervention. These areas represent the key foundations of sustainable human development.

1. Innovation for Human Development

Promoting innovative ideas, technologies, and initiatives that empower individuals and communities to improve their quality of life. Innovation serves as a catalyst for sustainable social and economic development.

2. Water Management

Supporting sustainable management and responsible use of water resources to ensure long-term environmental and human well-being.

3. Agriculture and Environment

Encouraging environmentally responsible agricultural practices and ecosystem protection to ensure food security and ecological balance.

4. Energy Production

Promoting sustainable and innovative energy solutions that support development while protecting the environment.

5. Animal Welfare

Encouraging responsible care, protection, and respect for animals as part of a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.

6. Human Protection

Looking Toward 2030

The Global Strategy 2030 represents a commitment to building a world where every human being has access to the knowledge and opportunities needed for a dignified and sustainable life. By promoting awareness, innovation, and collaboration, IPHD – International Promoting Human Development aims to empower individuals and communities to create lasting positive change. Together, we can ensure that the Minimum for a Better Life becomes a shared global standard for human development.

From Inner Transformation to Global Impact

The IPHD Human Development Framework is a comprehensive model that explains how sustainable human development emerges from the inside out—beginning with the individual and expanding outward to influence families, communities, societies, and the global system. This framework forms the conceptual foundation of the IPHD Minimum for a Better Life Project and guides all research, programs, partnerships, and global initiatives implemented by the International Platform for Human Development (IPHD). Unlike traditional development models that focus primarily on economic indicators, the IPHD approach recognizes that human development must integrate psychological, social, economic, ethical, and environmental dimensions.

The Inside → Global Impact Model

At the core of IPHD’s philosophy is a five-level development pathway.

1. The Inner Level – Personal Development

Human development begins within the individual. This level focuses on strengthening:• personal values

• emotional intelligence

• mental wellbeing

• ethical awareness

• purpose and responsibility. A society cannot thrive if individuals lack the capacity for self-awareness, resilience, and integrity.IPHD therefore promotes personal development as the foundation of sustainable social progress.

2. The Individual Level – Human Capability

Once the inner foundation is developed, individuals gain the ability to contribute meaningfully to society. This level focuses on:• education and lifelong learning

• health and wellbeing

• professional skills

• leadership development

• innovation and entrepreneurship. Empowered individuals become the drivers of economic growth, social stability, and innovation.

3. The Family Level – Social Stability

Families are the first social institution where values, resilience, and social cohesion are formed.IPHD emphasizes:• family wellbeing

• parental education

• intergenerational dialogue

• gender equity

• healthy household economies. Strong families create stable communities and reduce social vulnerability.

4. The Community Level – Collective Development

Communities are the spaces where individuals collaborate to solve shared challenges.IPHD supports community development through:• community leadership programs

• civic participation

• local economic initiatives

• youth empowerment

• cultural and social inclusion. At this stage, development becomes collective rather than individual.

5. The Societal Level – Institutional Strength

Societies require strong institutions to ensure fairness, opportunity, and sustainability.IPHD engages with:• governance systems

• policy development

• social justice

• inclusive economic systems

• environmental sustainability. This level focuses on building structures that enable long-term national development.

6. The Global Level – Shared Human Progress

The final level recognizes that humanity now faces global challenges that require collective solutions.IPHD contributes to global dialogue on:• sustainable development

• international cooperation

• human dignity and rights

• peace and social stability

• global knowledge exchange. Through research, partnerships, and international forums, IPHD aims to support a more balanced and humane global development model.

The Seven Areas of Intervention

To operationalize the Human Development Framework, IPHD works across seven strategic areas of intervention. These areas connect the inner dimension of human development with external systems and structures.

1. Personal Development and Mental Well-being

Strengthening the psychological and emotional capacities that allow individuals to thrive.

2. Education and Lifelong Learning

Promoting inclusive education, professional development, and knowledge access.

3. Health and Quality of Life

Improving physical, mental, and social well-being.

4. Family and Social Relationships
